At this turning point, we are invited to shed the skins of disappointment in others, in ourselves, and of ourselves so that through truth, letting go, and renewal, we may meet the coming cycle with warmth, expansion, and a deeper love for who we are.

Create Inner Space with Pale Green

In the Aura-Soma understanding of human subtle anatomy, within green is the Emerald of the Heart. Our heart is an intimate link with the Earth. As such, green issues have to do with the Earth, the way we care for it, and concerns of what we take from it rather than give to it. Green is also representative of panoramic awareness, spaciousness and decision making, as well as being associated with jealousy and envy.   Green supports us to see from the point of view of another.

When light enters green, this pale green helps us create inner space, whereby we can know our selves better. Pale green invites us to find the peace and space we need to make decisions. This increased self-knowledge and own direction in life becomes clearer, more conscious, and more light-filled. If we live the truth of our heart, if we do what we love to do, we will be filled with lightness and our hearts will be light.

The Aura-Soma Hilarion Quintessence relates to this pale green colour helping us create that sense of space, presence and newness within ourselves by releasing old stories and over-identifications that are no longer useful. As we become more present and available to ourselves, we are able to integrate the knowledge of our mind with the higher feeling aspect of our heart. What is asked of us rather than what we do of ourselves.

Global Meditation Live Online 

During the meditation on February 1st Mike reflected on the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, Imbolc, and the feast of St. Brigid as a time of renewal, shedding, and regeneration. This timing aligns with the closing phase of the Year of the Snake, and the symbolism of the letting go of old skins in preparation for new energy and growth.

Building on last month’s Meditation where he spoke about grief and forgiveness, Mike spoke about disappointment as another layer that needs to be released. Three forms of disappointment were explored:

• Disappointment in others when expectations are not met.
• Disappointment others feel toward us, which can weigh heavily even if it feels unjust.
• Disappointment with ourselves, often the deepest and most difficult to face.

These disappointments could be described as “skins of the snake” that we carry and must consciously shed in order to renew ourselves. True renewal involves facing the truth of where we have been, without judgment, and asking ourselves whether we are genuinely “on the way” toward growth and self-acceptance.

As the Year of the Snake draws to a close and the Fire Horse approaches, Mike emphasized emotional renewal: letting go of past disappointments to rediscover warmth, care, and love for oneself. This process allows for regeneration, expansion, and a deeper sense of inner peace.
