Each moment is essentially free, and it is only what we bring into this moment, from conditioned patterns, the ghosts of the past or our projections of the future, that corrupt the energy of the moment.

Invite clarity and gratitude with Pale Orange

Orange is the colour of deep joy, enthusiasm, bliss, profound insight and intellectual wisdom. Orange particularly inspires our instinctive gut reactions which spring from the fundamental truth of wisdom that lie within the orange. In Aura-Soma, orange also refers to shock and trauma, as well as the etheric body, the first body beyond the bio-electric or bio-energetic field, which is still intimately connected to the physical body. This etheric body retains a memory of shocks and traumas from the past. When shocks have displaced our true aura, we may be out of harmony with ourselves.

When light enters orange, this pale orange provides compassion for us to understand, accept and appreciate our past experiences, so that we can feel a deeper sense of peace. When past events are illuminated as potential opportunities and gifts, it brings with it the possibility for clarity and gratitude. Tensions in our body, emotions and mind may be released, thus improving the functioning of our energy centre.

The Aura-Soma Lao Tsu and Kwan Yin Quintessence relates to this pale orange colour. Kwan Yin is the Goddess of Compassion, Lao Tsu the Master Alchemist of the past. As such, using this Quintessence may help us to understand that what lies behind unease is often in the patterns of the past. As we draw on compassion and love we may be able to transmute the patterns of the past into something positive and life-enhancing.

Reflections on 2025:

As we stand at the threshold of a new cycle, 2025 invites us to pause and look back on a busy year for the global Aura-Soma community.

Throughout 2025, many of us felt called into new levels of self-responsibility. Themes of clarity, acceptance and gentle courage appeared again and again in the Equilibrium bottles drawn, the courses taught, and the experiences shared across the Academy. Whether individuals were stepping into long-awaited change or navigating unexpected transition, the colours offered a supportive mirror, encouraging presence in moments that felt uncertain and illuminating potential where it once seemed hidden.

This year also brought a renewed sense of connection within our community. Students, teachers, and practitioners across the world joined together, sometimes in person, often through the subtle grid of intention, to deepen their relationship with the living energies of the Aura-Soma system.

For the Academy, 2025 marked a steady evolution in how we learn and share. Many expressed that this year brought a clearer understanding of Aura-Soma both as a modality and as a way of being, an invitation to live in alignment with the light we are learning to recognize within ourselves.

As we complete this year, we acknowledge the growth that has unfolded quietly in the background of our lives: the inner shifts, the subtle breakthroughs, the moments of colour-born clarity that have guided our choices. And may we carry forward the renewed trust that comes when we remember that “You are the colours you choose, and these reflect your being’s needs.”
